Community Fund

We are delighted to have received some funding this year from the national lottery  Community Fund for our project ‘The Music Prescription’. We are now well under way with this project and wanted to share some of the fruits of our labours!

We have delivered workshops, one to one tuition and facilitated community engagement through performances. We have been working with a range of abilities from beginner level to more advanced; writing and learning songs, composing lyrics, helping with recordings, learning to play instruments and preparing participants to perform at community events such as the D-Day 80 ^th anniversary memorial and the Gay Pride events in Lowestoft and also, at ‘Suffolk Sober Spaces‘ open mic sessions.

We’re excited about concluding this project with this fantastic bunch of talented and enthusiastic people!
