Arts Council – Supporting Grassroots Music
We are delighted to have been awarded funding from the Arts Council that will allow us to develop sober artists and dry music venues in Ipswich and Lowestoft. The project will showcase the talent of sober and sober curious artists and expand alcohol free music spaces to provide sober and safer alternatives to traditional event culture.
By championing recovery led creativity the project will support the resilience of grassroots music and cultural inclusion for sober communities. The project will be delivered in partnership with the Suffolk Recovery Partnership, with guidance and support from Turning Point, Not Saints, local promoters, Grassroots venues and peer led locality groups.
We are excited to be starting this project in early 2026 and look forward to working with, encouraging and developing local artistic potential.
